What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We want to release the game as early as possible to gather player feedback in real time and find out what’s worth improving. Our goal is to tailor the project to the needs of our community, so the game evolves in the direction they truly want.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We estimate that the game will remain in Early Access for roughly 24 months. This may change as development evolves, but that’s our current target.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We're planning to add more elimination methods, increased interactions between students, and multiple endings based on player choices. We also plan to add small extras, like more hairstyles for the protagonist. The final shape of the game will depend on your feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“"In the game, you can currently test basic gameplay mechanics, such as eliminations, interacting with students, disposing of evidence, and more features and content that can be found in the in-game journal.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We want this game to remain free, but it will depend on how the game develops over time.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We want to hear player feedback in real time so the game can keep improving. That’s why we decided to release it now. Our team stays active on the game’s Discord server, which is linked on the Lilith’s Syndrome Steam page.”

About This Game

In Lilith's Syndrome, we take on the daily life of Lilith, who has a goal to achieve—one made difficult by obstacles that prevent her from fulfilling what she desires, all while making sure no one begins to suspect anything. She tries to appear like an average, normal girl who must hide her mysterious illness, one that is difficult to diagnose. Her goal is to win the heart of her beloved Yuji, while getting rid of anyone who stands in her way by any means necessary, without raising suspicion from her friends, the police, the school, and especially her mother.

Discover Lilith’s past

Since childhood, Lilith had her own world inside her mind, seeing things differently than other people and giving them her own names. For her, it was normal, but for her peers it was disturbing and frightening. They began distancing themselves, cutting off contact and calling her names, spreading rumors about her supposed illness. Lilith ended up alone, wondering what she was doing wrong and what made her different from being “normal.”

She began observing other students' behavior. Over time she slowly started to understand and learn from them, working hard to adapt. Eventually, she found a friend — Emi Takahashi. Emi didn’t mind how Lilith behaved and helped her learn how to function and pretend to be a normal person. This led to a major change in Lilith’s life: rebuilding trust with her peers and impressing her mother enough to make her believe she had recovered.

But after meeting Yuji, her life changed even more. She became convinced that Yuji could cure her and fix everything that troubled her — her problems and her past. At that moment, she knew exactly what she wanted, so she began working toward her goals.

Regain the trust of other students

Every student will be able to talk to Lilith, but they won’t trust her enough at first, making it harder to ask them for favors. Lilith will have to work hard to regain their trust and erase her past — solving their problems, joining clubs, participating in club activities, helping clubs grow, giving compliments, and behaving like a normal high school student.

Depending on their personalities, some students will be loyal or naive and will believe Lilith easily; some will be more difficult, and some will have strict and strong-willed personalities — it may take even several weeks for them to trust her enough.

Make sure your love stays always yours

Each week, a new girl will try to win Yuji’s heart — and Lilith cannot allow that. She is willing to do anything, even the worst, to prevent Yuji from accepting someone else’s feelings. The game features many elimination methods, both brutal and non-brutal:

  • Revealing your rival’s darkest secrets

  • Framing her for something unimaginable

  • Trying to force her to leave Yuji

  • Or even using bloody methods to get rid of her…

Each elimination method comes with its own challenges, so you must act cleverly and carefully to ensure no one suspects that Lilith is behind any murders or disappearances.

Make sure you didn’t leave any evidence at the crime scene

Lilith’s goal is to eliminate anyone who stands in her way to Yuji. However, if she resorts to more brutal methods, she must quickly dispose of any evidence that could point to her. But she must be careful — some students are able to defend themselves, raise an alarm, evacuate the school, or even witness the crime and escape, spreading the truth the next day about who might have committed it.
