Coming Soon To Early Access

What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“This game is an episodic release with five parts planned so far. While each released episode will be polished and fully functioning, changes over time may be necessary to ensure a positive experience as hidden bugs are fixed, artwork is updated, or engine updates cause instabilities.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The game will be in Early Access for as long as it takes to complete all five chapters. As I am working on this game entirely on my own, I expect each chapter to take roughly one year to complete, making up a total of four more years of early access.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“This game is an episodic release with five parts planned. Early Access allows players to experience each chapter as it is released, rather than waiting for the full game to be completed all at once. The full version will contain ALL of the content found in the Early Access version in one nice, neat, accessible package. The game will leave Early Access once all chapters are complete.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Currently the Early Access version contains the completely finished first chapter with all artwork and features. More info about these features can be found in the "About This" section.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“I have no concrete plans to change the price when the game leaves Early Access, although as the scope of the project increases this may be something to consider later. Rest assured; you'll be informed well before any price increases!”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The community is free to follow me on various social media platforms where I plan to post frequent updates about my progress. I look forward to seeing anyone who comes along for the ride :-)”

About This Game

Avan jolted awake from the same nightmare he'd experienced for nights on end. It was something he'd learned to live with - something that lingered over him since he was just a boy...but last night was different. A distant yet familiar voice called to him through an endless, empty expanse. Visions of a small body wearing blue flooded his vision. His right palm seared from a burn that had long since healed. The nightmares had only grown more vivid with time. More sinister. More real.

The young man held his aching hand close as he wandered to the watchtower he'd been summoned to. A little girl was found dead not far from the city. Though her clothes stained with black blood were alarming in their own right, it was their blue hue that captured Avan's intrigue. Could his dreams be tied to the truth of what happened?

Reports of disappearances climbed high on the Guard Captain's desk while the pain in Avan's head grew. In a bid to ease his guilty conscience, Avan found himself invested in uncovering the truth. The night before he was set to depart for the scene of the crime, two strange figures bearing an eerie message visited his dreams.

"Executioner...your first and final trial waits for you there...at the temple."

It didn't mean anything. At least not then.

In Divine Omen, even the most innocuous choices can shape the fates of your companions. The messages in Avan's dreams serve as your guide. Listen carefully.
