Why Early Access?

“Double Whammy is an ambitious fusion of guitar shop management, action, and real guitar connectivity. Building a game of this scope requires direct player feedback in the wild. Audio features of the game require testing across a variety of hardware setups, audio interfaces, and skill levels which needs live player feedback for continued development.
Early Access release will let us collaborate directly with the community to refine the overall experience. We are fully committed to the long-term development of Double Whammy.”

“Double Whammy will be in Early Access for approximately one year.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to introduce more Dream Realm levels, expanded features for the custom guitar creator, and deeper online functionality. As we move toward a full release, our goal is to add more content and gameplay depth based on community feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The core gameplay loop of Double Whammy is fully playable. The game currently features the guitar Shop, Dream Realm levels, fully functional real guitar connectivity with custom guitar tabs and backing tracks, and custom guitar designer / sharing feature.
