Why Early Access?

“Retail Revenge already has a playable core loop, but its store systems, customer behaviour, balance, performance and overall polish are still being developed. Early Access allows players to experience the game while giving Toaster Bath Studios practical feedback on what is working, what needs improvement and which areas should be prioritised during development.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect Retail Revenge to remain in Early Access for approximately 6–12 months. This estimate may change depending on player feedback, development priorities and the work required to reach the intended quality for version 1.0.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version is planned to expand the current game with more customer variety, deeper store and inventory systems, additional VR interactions, more content and further improvements to balance, usability, performance and polish. These plans may change as development progresses and player feedback is reviewed.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access launch version includes the core playable experience: stocking shelves, setting prices, scanning and bagging groceries, serving customers and handling checkout interactions in VR. Players can run the store professionally or use the available weapons and combat systems to fight back. The core gameplay loop is playable, but players should expect bugs, balance changes and systems that will continue to evolve during Early Access.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price may increase as substantial new features and content are added during Early Access and when the game reaches version 1.0.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will collect feedback through Steam Discussions, direct player surveys and the existing tester and community channels. Feedback will be reviewed when prioritising bugs, usability issues, balancing, performance improvements and future development.”

About This Game

Clock in and take control of a supermarket built for hands-on PC VR. Stock shelves, set prices, scan and bag groceries, serve customers and keep the checkout moving. When the pressure builds, you decide whether to stay professional—or fight back.

RUN THE STORE

Handle the everyday jobs of retail using motion-controlled VR interactions. Move products, restock displays, set prices, scan items, bag groceries and process customers at the checkout.
