About This Game

NEXT PLAYER is a first-person psychological horror game set in a single room.

The cartridge has no branding or artwork—only two words on its label: NEXT PLAYER. You insert it into an old console and turn on the CRT TV. An ordinary platformer starts. For a while, that’s exactly what it is.

As the game progresses, what happens on the screen no longer stays on the screen. You can't get up. You can't leave the room. All you can do is keep playing.

Don't just watch the screen. It might be watching you too.

The game takes about 30 minutes to complete.

This game contains flashing lights, loud noises, and visual distortions. These effects may affect players with photosensitive epilepsy.
