Make peace with the past and embrace the future

For generations, mankind has waged a seemingly endless war against the Demon Queen. Armies march against her. Heroes fall before her. Yet despite possessing the power to crush those who oppose her, one question remains unanswered: If the Demon Queen truly seeks mankind's destruction, why hasn't she already accomplished it?

After yet another catastrophic campaign ends in defeat, a knight of the Kingdom of Amarcia begins to question the story they've been told. Disillusioned with the endless conflict and unwilling to continue fighting simply because others command it, they cast aside their armor and leave the kingdom behind. Their destination is the Demon Queen herself.

What begins as a search for answers will uncover forgotten truths surrounding Illuminate, the legendary heroes of a fallen golden age, and the legacy they left behind. History remembers them as mankind's saviors—but history is not always the same thing as truth. Journey across Istina, confront the past, and decide what its legacy means for the future.

Choose between Cain or Abelle to be the protagonist of your journey. They have differing personalities as well as differing dialogue at points. But their stories are the same, so choose who you prefer.

MEET THE CAST

Utilize point and click functions to explore dungeons and study the environment. Seek treasures and interact with your allies to learn more about each other and your surroundings as you advance the story.

A colorful cast of townspeople await in the Town of Istina. Learn about their daily lives, as well as those of your allies, as you pass the times together. Gear up for your next dungeon, take quests, and wind down with amusing conversations and side events.

Engage in speedy turn-based battles against dangerous enemies utilizing various resources. Each character has a unique skill set with special interactions and conditional effects. Learn what each of your allies can do, Chain together Arts for big damage, upgrade your Arts with additional perks, and manage your resources in order to come out on top.

Your actions will decide the fates of these characters. Experience multiple endings depending on how you approach exploration and the story. Keep your eyes peeled for hidden events and interactions. They just may change the course of the narrative in unexpected ways.
