About This Game

Red Snow is a wave-based snowboarding combat roguelite with Y2K style, absurd violence, and a real bad attitude. We don’t play by the rules here, I repeat: THERE ARE NO RULES IN RED SNOW. (Except for the rules of the roguelite, which are actually pretty complicated.) But it basically works like this: build huge combos that combine tricks and kills. The bigger and crazier the combo, the more points you earn. Hit the score goal each wave and try not to die. See how long you can hold it together before everything goes horribly wrong.

Shred, blast, bludgeon, and combo your way through hordes of enemy snowboarders who are NOT very chill (it’s okay to kill them though, they’re NPCs). In between waves, ride the chairlift, where the roguelite shop is open for biz. Stack stickers on your board with hundreds of unique effects: reward yourself for airborne shotgun kills, or treat yourself to a decapitation while grinding. Build a beautiful synergy of stickers each run, break your build, abuse the meta and compete in online leaderboards. And you can do all that with friends (if you have any).

CO-OP (BOARDING WITH BUDS)

You don’t have to shred alone! Red Snow’s roguelite can be played in online co-op or singleplayer. Or try online deathmatch for a quick hit of oldschool-arena shooter gameplay, but on snowboards.

Combine classic snowboarding-style trick combos with third-person gunplay and melee combat in a scoring system that rewards creativity, chaos, and big brained strategies.

THE CHAIRLIFT SHOP

Every wave ends with a ride back up the mountain. Spend your cash (that you looted from the corpses of other snowboarders), browse upgrades, take on side-quests, and customize your run with a massive collection of Smiley Stickers: wildcard upgrades that twist your build in unexpected directions. Build sick & twisted synergies wave after wave.

ROGUELITE REPLAYABILITY

No two runs are the same. And neither are the rewards: earn unique trophies tied to your run’s seed, then defend your trophy when someone outscores you on the leaderboard. Every seed is a new challenge, a new potential trophy, and a new chance for glory (if an online leaderboard is glorious to you, I guess).

UNLOCK & EXPERIMENT

Unlock new items after every run. Mix and match stickers, weapons, perks, characters, and vehicles to discover broken synergies, stumble into unexpected strategies, and make catastrophic mistakes.
