Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The plan is to lead the game out of the Early Access phase within a year, and of course, this also depends on your feedback. I am convinced that I will be able to offer you a game that you will enjoy for many years and that will be worth your money.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“At the start of Early Access, Celestial Rune Consortium already offers a fully-fledged gameplay experience in terms of mechanics. During the Early Access phase, we plan to further improve and/or supplement gameplay features based on your feedback from the community. Furthermore, a significant expansion of the world, including the playable moons, is planned. This encompasses not only new biomes but also new anomalies, enemies, skills, weapons, and runes, as well as additional traps and dangers.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current Early Access version offers a fully playable product including 4 playable maps of varying sizes: Novara (small), Astrae (small), Celestis (medium), Lunova (large), as well as a skill tree to enhance the agent's characteristics, different enemy types, anomalies and runes.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“As the Early Access version is a game still in development and does not yet have the full scope, and may contain minor errors, it is priced lower than the final release version.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The community is an essential part of software development, and community feedback is crucial for me as a developer and for the product itself. The community is encouraged to provide both praise and criticism, as well as suggestions for improvement.

I will strive to incorporate this feedback into the existing program architecture as much as possible, without negatively impacting the balancing or gaming experience.

About This Game

In Celestial Rune Consortium: Shadows of Ascension, you play as a Rune Agent whose task is to locate ancient runes in long-lost bunker facilities and extract them for the Consortium.

You will visit many remote and dangerous moons on your journey in service of the Consortium.

Missions are received in your office, where you can freely choose your next target based on your abilities. In your office, you can also invest your earned credits to improve your character traits, enabling you to better counter enemies in future missions, increase your chances of survival, and consequently boost your profits.

But beware! You are not alone, various creatures are hostile towards you and will attempt to interfere with your mission. This begins with anomalies on different moons that can negatively affect your character's attributes, induce hallucinations, or harm your health. Use your abilities and resources wisely you can try the "smash and grab" approach or opt for a stealthier approach, stealing the runes quietly in the shadows. Perhaps you'll be lucky and remain undiscovered.

Unknown plants and their toxins can influence you in either positive, stimulating ways, or negative ones, be warned.

Mechanical life forms roam the dark bunker facilities and defend the runes at all costs. Beware of swift and agile hunters, lumbering brutes, or insects that harass you from a distance. Some have the ability of teleportation and can make your life hell in an unguarded moment.

Defy the countless dangers, collect the runes, fulfill the Consortium's objectives, and go down in history as the best Rune Agent in the Consortium's annals.

In the game, all scenes primarily consist of regular battles, typically with robots. However, at various intervals, "jump scares" caused by anomalies occur. These may include ghosts running towards the player while screaming, sound files playing intermittently to startle the player, and spider creatures crawling out of holes and advancing towards the player.
