End User License Agreement (EULA) for Celestial Rune Consortium - Shadows of Ascension

Please read this End User License Agreement (“EULA”) carefully before installing or using Celestial Rune Consortium - Shadows of Ascension.
By downloading, installing, or using Celestial Rune Consortium - Shadows of Ascension ("the Game"), you agree to be bound by the terms of this EULA. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the Game.
1. License Grant
Squirrel-Interactive, owned by Eike Löschen, grants you a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive, and revocable license to use the Game for personal, non-commercial purposes. This license permits you to use the Game only in accordance with the terms of this EULA.
2. Ownership Rights
The Game and all content within it, including but not limited to text, graphics, images, music, code, and other materials, are the intellectual property of Squirrel-Interactive, owned by Eike Löschen, and are protected by German copyright law and other applicable laws. You acknowledge that all rights, titles, and interests in the Game and its contents remain with Squirrel-Interactive, owned by Eike Löschen.
3. Usage Restrictions
You agree not to:
modify or adapt the Game to create derivative works;
reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Game, except where permitted by applicable law;
sell, rent, or license the Game or duplicate and distribute copies of it;
manipulate the Game, including the use of cheats, hacks, modifications, or any unauthorized software that alters or affects the gameplay experience.
4. Online Code of Conduct
If the Game offers online interactions, you agree to:
respect other players and refrain from any form of harassment or abusive behavior;
comply with all applicable laws and fair play standards and avoid using any unauthorized aids or tools.
5. Data Privacy and Processing
By using the Game, you consent to the collection and processing of personal data as outlined in our Privacy Policy https://www.squirrel-interactive.de/datenschutz . Data collection and processing are conducted in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable German data protection laws.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Game is provided "as is". Squirrel-Interactive, owned by Eike Löschen, makes no warranty regarding the error-free operation, security, availability, or suitability of the Game for any particular purpose. Use of the Game is at your own risk.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Squirrel-Interactive, owned by Eike Löschen, is not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from the use or inability to use the Game. This includes but is not limited to damages resulting from data loss, lost profits, or other economic losses, even if Squirrel-Interactive has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
8. Termination
This EULA remains effective until terminated by you or by Squirrel-Interactive, owned by Eike Löschen. Your rights under this EULA will automatically terminate without prior notice if you breach any term of this agreement. Upon termination, you must delete all copies of the Game from your devices.
9. Updates and Modifications
Squirrel-Interactive, owned by Eike Löschen, reserves the right to update or modify the Game at any time. You may be required to accept a new version of this EULA to continue using the updated version of the Game.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This EULA is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. All disputes arising from or relating to this EULA are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at the location of Squirrel-Interactive, owned by Eike Löschen, Kaiserslautern, Germany.
11. Severability
If any provision of this EULA is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be replaced by a valid and enforceable provision that most closely reflects the original provision’s economic intent.
