Why Early Access?

“The Millie Megavolte series has evolved with every installment and Millie and the Mole King is no exception--it is a giant leap forward for the series in both gameplay and presentation. I'm opening up the game to Early Access to get feedback on the game as it's being made so it can be the best it can be. Please help shape Millie's triumphant return by playing and offering feedback on everything from the game balance to what silly alternate outfits the characters should wear.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“One to two years.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The game will be ready to leave Early Access when:

• All base-game Story Mode stories are completed
  
• Adventure Mode is fully implemented (potentially with all-levels and endless variants)
  
• The wardrobe is fully implemented with locked items and purchases with gelder

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The core gameplay is playable with one game mode, one full stage, one boss, and nine playable characters. All outfits and weapons are unlocked by default.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Upon release, the base game will still be free to play. However, all extra and future content will require purchase of the Millie MegaPass DLC. The base game will only include Story Mode and only stories for Millie, Lance, Anne, Kilzek, and Monda.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Players are encouraged to give feedback and suggestions on all aspects of the game, from character balance, stages, what things are annoying, to even outfit and weapon ideas. Players can give feedback in the Steam discussion forums, through the MTC Discord in the Millie 8 discussion channel, or even through email if they wish.”
