Coming Soon To Early Access

The developers of this game intend to release as a work in progress, developing with the feedback of players.

Note: Games in Early Access are not complete and may or may not change further. If you are not excited to play this game in its current state, then you should wait to see if the game progresses further in development. Learn more

What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We chose Early Access to build the game with players and improve it in the open.
- Validate the core fun and difficulty with real play, not assumptions.
- Find and fix bugs and performance issues across a wide range of hardware.
- Set roadmap priorities based on player feedback and transparent updates.
We aim for long-term quality rather than rushing 1.0. Early Access is how we iterate with the community toward the best version of the game.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan to start Early Access between October and December 2025 and target a 1.0 release in mid 2026. This puts the Early Access period at roughly 6 to 9 months, with final timing adjusted based on player feedback.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version is planned to go beyond the current “get stronger” loop by completing a second core experience outside the match.
Locker Room: a hub grounded in a sustainable progression loop, where players can connect with others and discover fun beyond pure power progression.
This second core structure is the experience we are building toward. Exact features and scope may evolve during Early Access based on player feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access build is about 80% complete toward our planned EA scope. The core loop is stable and fully playable.
- What’s ready: core mechanics, progression, and the key systems needed for a complete session.
- What’s in progress: balance and late-game tuning, content variety, performance and stability polish, and broader QA.
We plan to share a Steam Next Fest build that is very close to the EA experience so players can try it before we launch. Specific content and timing may evolve based on feedback.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to maintain the price. We will announce any changes in advance.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to involve players throughout Early Access with open channels, participation programs, and live two-way communication.
- Steam Community and our official Discord as primary hubs for updates and feedback. For players in China, we’ll use Kook.
- A range of participation programs so the community can help shape development, such as opt-in playtests and focused feedback sessions.
- Live streams on Twitch and similar platforms for real-time Q&A, play sessions, and previews.
We’ll review feedback regularly, share what we’re acting on next, and adjust plans as we learn.”

About This Game

<Scavenge, Fight, Escape>

The Midnight Walkers is a hardcore PvPvE FPS zombie extraction game.

You can play in solo or trios mode. You must scavenge for loot to get gear, kill zombies and other survivors, and escape. If you successfully escape, you can craft with materials and buy/sell more powerful equipment, but if you die, you will lose everything you had.

<Liberty Grand Center mega-complex>

Liberty Grand Center, a giant mega-complex in Golden County, has floors with different themes and unique loot, including a hospital, a shopping mall, and a casino.

The threats here are not just zombies or other survivors.

As time passes, the poison gas system spreads to random floors, and you must use elevators or stairs to avoid it.

But remember: every time you move to another floor, your chances of encountering other survivors will increase.

<Choose Your Class>

BRICK, a steadfast warrior armed with a large hammer and heavy armor.

CROW, an assassin with nimble movements who uses daggers to strike opponents off guard.

LOCKDOWN, a sniper who can attack from a distance using a bow.

MARGARITA, a supporter who can mix cocktails to heal and buff allies.

Choose the one that fits your playstyle.

<Face Your Enemies>

The zombies here are all deadly.

Even the weakest zombie, the Walker, can be a great threat if you are surrounded, and there are also zombies more lethally mutated than the Runner, which fiercely pursues survivors.

In any case, the biggest threat is other survivors.

Triumph over other survivors, alone or with your teammates, and seize more loot.

The best show in Golden County, and the only show!

We look forward to your performance in The Midnight Walkers.
