Why Early Access?

“We appreciated the honest feedback from the community from our first game, Satellite Reign. This feedback helped us address issues and adjust the approach for certain features, which resulted in a better overall experience. Given the open-world structure similarities with Cozy Caravan, we feel like this will result in a better game in the long-run.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The soonest we could potentially reach a full release would be late in 2024, but release could be pushed out later depending on player feedback or any unforeseen development roadblocks.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version currently contains the first region of the world. It is playable with quests, characters and activities, and we plan to add more content here as we continue developing Cozy Caravan. We are also currently developing the next region which we hope to release in Early Access.

Additionally, we have early plans for more regions beyond these two, which we hope to further develop and use to expand the game. However, if these regions are added, they may not be in the planned 1.0 release, and instead come in later updates following the full release.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Currently, Cozy Caravan allows players to explore the "Farmland" region, along with its associated characters, quests, and activities. This area introduces players to the world, the core mechanics, and sets them off on the first leg of their journey. There are characters to help, recipes to unlock, and markets to operate.

While the roads leading to the next region are present in the current build, they are currently blocked off until development there reaches a level where we are ready to start receiving player feedback.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We haven't settled on a final pricing strategy yet, but it is likely that the price will increase on full launch as more content is added.

We will update this section as soon as our pricing strategy is finalised.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“As with our previous game Satellite Reign, we plan to lean into community feedback, allowing us to target specific areas of improvement, or areas players would prefer to see more of. Early Access also gives us a wider variety of specifications to test the game on to get performance and QA feedback.

Our will be our primary means of collecting player feedback.”
