Puzzlers... prepare to meet your Doom.

             

Blocks for Babies crosses roguelite tile-dropping gameplay with first-person carnage. Form complete rows to clear lines in 2D, shoot to kill in 3D, and help Flapper clean up his blocks by any means necessary.

             

Stack falling tetrominos in classic puzzle style, then go eye-level and shoot your way through the game board in a retro-style boomer shooter. Jump between modes to place and destroy enemy blocks, constantly rehaping the board. Clear enough lines to earn a unique roguelike reward and move on to a new challenge.

             

Strategically attack the game board to land satisfying line clears and rack up high scores, all while avoiding the corrupted blocks that are hunting you down. Throughout each run you'll add more weapons to your arsenal, each with unique gunplay and game-changing effects on the 2D puzzle gameplay. Permanent upgrades purchased between runs will give you the tools to keep getting stronger.

Blocks for Babies was originally developed for videogamedunkey's Bigmode game jam. The Steam release takes this well-nurtured baby and raise it to maturity with more weapons, more enemies, and a compelling roguelite gameloop.
