The horror game Whispering Lane takes you to an abandoned house on Whispering Lane Street. Darkness reigns on the street, and strange noises stir unease among the neighbors. The item management system recalls the spirit of classic survival horror games. Item bags are located at strategic points, allowing players to effectively store and organize their resources. With them, players can optimize their equipment, increasing their chances of survival in the uncertain and dangerous game world. The inventory in the game allows for combining items, sorting, deleting, etc.



"The Two Worlds in the Game" is a unique aspect of gameplay that offers players the opportunity to explore both a typical, ordinary world and a dark, frightening space covered with biomass. The first world is the abandoned house on Whispering Lane Street, while the second world is an unknown and dangerous space, full of mysterious creatures and threats. Rigidbody features have been added, contributing to more realistic animation and interaction with the environment. Their artificial intelligence has been strengthened, allowing them to detect the player at certain angles and block attacks, requiring players to take a more strategic approach to combat. Additionally, enemies now patrol areas, making exploration of the game world even more exciting and unpredictable. Additionally, "Boss Fights" are an exciting element of the game, where players face off against powerful opponents. Each boss has unique abilities and strategies, requiring players to approach them creatively and tactically. Defeating a boss is a challenge that provides not only satisfaction but also rewards and key hints for further development in the game.



The dark graphics and two worlds in the game - one normal and the other covered in biomass - are key elements that create a unique atmosphere and depth in the game. Realistic graphics immerse players in a dark atmosphere, and two different realities add complexity to the experience, presenting a contrast between normalcy and terrifying biomass.



In the game world of Whispering Lane, your defense options are unlimited thanks to a rich range of weapons available to choose from. From traditional tools such as a baseball bat, crowbar, or axe, through classic firearms like a shotgun and pistol, to professional tools like a police baton or knife - you'll find everything you need to survive. Each weapon has its unique characteristics, allowing players to adapt their combat approach to the situation and preferences.



LAST HOPE: Defend the house - is an upgraded version of the well-known mode from the game Apartment 1406. In this new edition, players must defend the house against waves of enemies, fighting for survival and earning points that allow them to advance in online rankings. The LAST HOPE mode becomes available after completing the basic game campaign, offering players a new challenge and the opportunity to compete with other players worldwide.



Players can adjust settings such as brightness in the game, graphic and sound quality, as well as configure keys to their needs or create shortcuts. For example, you can assign a key shortcut to the number 4 on the keyboard for a particular item such as a medkit and during the game press the 4 key to use the medkit. Additionally, there are crates in the game that can be destroyed. The game supports various control methods, including both mouse and keyboard, as well as gamepad, to provide optimal gameplay comfort for everyone. Unforgettable experiences are enriched by terrifying music, and players can strive to achieve special challenges through the Steam achievements system and compete with others on leaderboards thanks to the Steam Leaderboards feature and use Steam Cloud saves.
