Why Early Access?

“Beyond the Doors is being developed by a small team of two and needs time to reach its planned content and detail level. We still have many ideas we want to add, and we don’t want to keep the game hidden during this process. We also need player feedback to improve existing content and for new ideas.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan to finish it within a year, but we don't have a specific date in mind yet. It will remain in Early Access depending on player expectations and until we are satisfied with the final version of the game.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“In the full release of Beyond the Doors, we plan to add a new apartment building look, more new events and secret levels, more crafting options, more variety in the shop section, more interaction with neighbors, and more interactive objects. We also plan to focus more on feedback and requests from the community.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Compared to the demo, the Early Access version includes new accessible areas in the apartment building, new events and secret levels, and more settings options. Along with new content, we have also improved the general gameplay and physics.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, there will be a small price increase after the full release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Players can always contact us through the Steam forums and our Discord server. After Early Access launches, we will regularly check these channels and improve the game based on feedback.”
