Why Early Access?

“We believe that Roguelite Deckbuilders are ideal for Early Access due to their high replayability and the fine-tuning required to balance all the moving parts.

Also, we want to try lots of innovative mechanics and give the players the chance to participate in the development process by proposing their own ideas.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Depends on how much time it takes to implement the five characters we have planned.

We expect this to take at least 12 months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“During Early Access we plan to release a total of five characters, each with their own new mechanics, cards, enemies, and stories.

We also want to try different game modes and see how the community reacts to them.

Once all the content is released and thoroughly tested, we plan to make a final round of polishing and balancing that may include stretch goals defined during the Early Access period.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“At launch, the Early Access will feature the first playable character with all the mechanics to complete entire runs and unveil its story arc.

Then, as we add new content, we will update this section.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. During Early Access the game will be listed at a discounted price to reward our early supporters.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We want the community to take an active role in the development of the game.

We are always available at our Discord Server, where players can leave feedback, discuss strategies, and propose ideas.”

About This Game





Ever wondered what the love child of a Roguelike Deckbuilder and a Tabletop Boardgame would look like? Here’s the answer: Into The Grid features action-packed card battles and deeply tactical map exploration with resource management.




We designed a unique dual-resource system where each card is played for its effect while simultaneously generating Virtual Memory (VIM), which allows the player to take advantage of even the most suboptimal hands. Use your VIM to activate your Commands during battle and obliterate your enemies’ defenses!




Exploit the Commands - powerful unlockable skills that can be the difference between victory and defeat. Choose them wisely, sync them with your deck, and strategically deploy them for knockout wins.



The Grid is the infinite digital landscape where information lives. Full of riches and dangers, it’s a place where only the sharpest minds can thrive. Experience a layer of depth never seen before in the genre; consider every move as if it were your last because it might be. Fight or flee? Visit this area now or later? Cash in a reward immediately, or hold on to it for an even bigger payoff? The choice is yours, as well as the punishment and the profit.



The Repo is your arsenal, and its program cards, your weapons. Get new Programs as you explore, and scrap your least effective ones to upgrade your best ones. Look out for unique combinations and unlock the ultimate power.

Into The Grid's universe is a grimdark cyberpunk dystopia and as such, all stories told within it may touch subjects such as crime, violence, societal injustices, etc. We do our best to not glorify or romanticize these topics. We also design our experiences to be immersive and realistic hence we avoid unnecessary explicit content unless it's absolutely required to convey the message.
