Aeterna Lucis is our purest metroidvania yet, and the sequel Aeterna Noctis fans have been waiting for. New to the saga? Start here. Aeterna Lucis is the sequel to Aeterna Noctis and continues its story, but it can be your first game in the Aeterna Universe. And if you fall in love with it, play Aeterna Noctis afterwards to uncover many more details of the story.

For the first time, two ways to experience Aeterna:

• Aeterna Mode · Pure Metroidvania: a balanced experience between exploration and combat, perfect for adventure lovers. Recommended for most players and for discovering Aeterna Lucis for the first time.
• Lucis Mode · NoctisVania: far more intense platforming challenges and relentless bosses. Designed for hardcore players, or for a second adventure after Aeterna Mode.
