Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The game is expected to be in Early Access until mid-2025 to late 2026 depending on how much feedback is received and how much editing/adding of content is required. I currently work on the game on a part-time level as I also work a development job.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version will start with simple multiplayer and focus on improving the multiplayer experience through feedback.

The single-player game (possibly with CO-OP) will be a very immersive story that transcends time (temporal mechanics), explains why Adventure Mansion is what it is, and how the past, present, and future will be combined in an epic story. At this time the single-player version of the game is not expected to be implemented but if there is enough interest this can be added in with an additional pushback on the Early Access timeline.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is in pre-Early Access development so, as of 1/8/2023, this game has a menu level (mansion exterior) and a play level (mansion interior). The artistic assets for characters and the mansion are set but currently, the mansion has no objectives, some interactable objects, and is just explorable (60+ rooms) in multiplayer. The menu system is fully developed and functional. I am devoting about 24 hours a week to game development as I do work outside the gaming industry (in full-stack web development). This section will be updated frequently.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“I plan to gradually raise the price as I ship new content and features. Buying early gets you a cheaper price in the long run but a less developed product.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“A feedback system (or discord) will be set up closer to the initial pre-release status.”
