About This Game

This is Real

You can find real life maps to navigate your way through the game or search for actual news reports that might help you find secrets buried through out each released subsection of earth. The only map markers are the ones you physically make.

The project is currently being built by a solo dev who has been frustrated with the direction AAA has been headed. The players do matter.

The First Location

Each subsection of earth is done in 2km x 2km increments. This is a 1:1 ration of earth with everything being hand placed. The studio believes that procedural generation robs players of immersion and exploration and makes games feel cheap. Some maps will be in conjunction and some may be across the world. Some will be urban and some will be rural. Do you have the skills to adapt and survive?



You are Alone

Its time to make your own rules. There are no friends, what humans that are left have chosen to kill on sight. The zombies will raid your home seeking flesh and if by some miracle your grandma is alive, she's useless and glued to a wheel chair. It really is your world and your world alone.



Survive

The infected aren’t the only ones you have to worry about – there’s also the wildlife and the elements. Master your electrical skills to enhance your survival and build structures that you haven't been bale to build anywhere else. CDZ strives to enhance the complexity of the enjoyable aspects of gaming (such as fight difficulty and creative freedoms) while dumbing down systems such as stamina, hunger, thirst and temperature into a far more enjoyable experience while still being ever present.
