Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The initial Early Access input has been great. Through the media, messages and outreach, game testing then went into a focus-group email newsletter. The release date for Full Version 1.0 is estimated Q1 2030. Regular minor and major updates are planned based on that community input. Full Edition's release depends on the scope of work. That scope is set by refining features, based on player-community interests. We also include the possibility user-generated content, such as mods or Steam Workshop. In other words: We look forward to seeing you solve some mysteries!”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The unique mystery simulation game-engine is defined. Core mechanics presently include:

Collect clue-sets to solve mysteries
Play an avatar player-character (PC) of your choice
The mystery-solving PC is customizable, play a child or a grown-up
Interact with procedurally generated mysteries, parties, and life events
Fully-detailed personality attributes and family trees
Build a variety of relationships with NPCs
Work at a job, buy a home, buy and collect objects
Use objects to keep up your PC's Moxie...
Or use objects as gifts to make friends and impress witnesses!”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Early-access players benefit from the current price. The retail price of Full Edition version 1.0 and beyond is not currently announced. The price may differ from the prior Early Access version.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Players are welcomed to share feedback at our socials and the Steam forums, linked here on the Steam page, and in the game's Community Tab.

Mystery at Grand Fir Village is a mystery generator. It's also a story-telling game to experience and share with others. Everyone solves mysteries and shares stories in a different way. As developers, we want to implement a variety of playstyles, and create opportunities for user-generated content.”
