About This Game

Everyone needs a mother.

After receiving a desperate letter from his estranged sister, Elias Vale travels to the abandoned Alderheim Orphanage in search of her missing son.

The orphanage has stood empty for decades.

Its candles are still burning.

Its halls echo with conversations from the past, and somewhere within the darkness, a child is calling Elias by another name.

The Mothering is a first-person psychological horror game inspired by classic survival horror experiences such as Amnesia: The Dark Descent. Explore a decaying orphanage, uncover its history through handwritten notes and fragmented memories, solve grounded environmental puzzles, and survive the dangers still wandering its halls.
