Why Early Access?

“Early Access is a way for the development team from Danger Thumbs to focus on a successful deployment of one body of work at a time. This is important because each major feature that gets implemented will have the full attention of the team, meaning that we can make adjustments quickly.
Compartmentalization of the deployments will provide a much better experience for those who are giving their time to play our game!”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The game will be in Early Access for approximately 5 months, which will give each portion of work enough time to be implemented properly.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“When the game hits full release, it will be a 'full game', meaning that what we advertise the game as having, will be implemented to the best abilities of the team.

We take the differentiation of Early Access and Full Release very literal, and work to ensure that everything that we say will be included has been done so correctly and given the fullest attention.

Early Access will give people the ability to come along on the journey with us, should they so choose!”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The first iteration of Early Access will have a focus on the local couch-coop portion of the game, as well as the single player aspects of it!

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We are not planning on changing the pricing when we leave early access, and still intend to have a free version of the game for people to try.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The best way for us to get feedback is through our Discord, or via our Steam discussions. Even though we do read and note as many comments from our social media as we can, our Discord allows the team to converse directly with our players!

Feedback from players has been very important for us, so we look to keep expanding on the ways to include the community, who are giving up their time to play our game.”
