Why Early Access?

“With Dungeon Inn, we hope to provide players with a new, fun and cozy gameplay experience.

We are trying to create a new kind of gameplay, and while novelty can create excitement, it's not inherently fun. That is why, to create a fun gaming experience, we hope to get a lot of feedback from players around the world through Early Access, so that we can bring a better, more enjoyable game to our players.

With the demo, we were able to test the type of fun and the tutorial levels of the core gameplay. We hope to take it further and get some valuable advice from our great players on what makes it more fun and how to sustain their enjoyment of the game in the long run.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“This game will be in early acces for approximately a year.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“In the full version, we intend to end the story with the main characters successfully completing their contract with the dragon, and we plan to include more events, different gimmicks, new guests, new objectives, and more as players continue their journey with the main characters.

The feedback we get from players in Early Access will help us make the new content and systems even more fun, including making them easier to control and balancing each item.

We're also planning to support steam decks, and offer an endless mode.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current Early Access version tells the story of the main character over the course of four months. There are 16 stages in total.

Players can add various facilities to the interior of the Dungeon Inn or upgrade existing facilities, and welcome various guests to the inn by playing as a stager. There are over 80 guests and over 100 events, big and small, to enjoy. Of course, they can also use the Collections feature to see which events they've attended and which guests they've met.

We expect the Early Access version from start to finish to be 5 ~ 8 hours of cute and enjoyable fun for players.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“As we improve the game and add more game content, we will consider slightly increasing the price of the game when the full version is released. We will ensure the price is fair for you based on the game's content and quality.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will be looking for feedback from players through various channels, including the Steam Community, social media, and Discord. We will also be open to discussions as needed.”
