The year is 2079. More than two decades have passed since the AI bubble burst, leaving behind a world where strong AI research is strictly outlawed. But during a live reality show, A bold claim is made—someone among them isn't human, but AI! Some scoff, some seize the moment for attention, and Lucas, a part-time delivery worker, is just an unlucky bystander caught in the chaos—or is he?

Secretly possessing a mind-altering ability hasn’t made Lucas’s life any easier. Two years into adulthood, he remains trapped in the same struggle: jumping between jobs, barely making ends meet, and unable to to move on from the ghosts of his past.
