About This Demo

THE BLOOD MOON HAS RISEN. THE BASE HAS GONE SILENT. SOMETHING INSIDE IS LISTENING.

Blood Moon Horror Demo is a free taste of a 1–8 player co-op survival horror game. Take your squad into Sector Aegis, a sealed section of Lunar Base Alpha, with no weapons. Restore power in the dark, recover the evidence, and get out alive while corrupted machines hunt you by sound, light, and movement.

What's in the Demo

• 1–8 players in online or LAN co-op. Solo play works too.

• Sector Aegis. A complete run from breach to extraction, on one fixed station layout.

• Proximity voice chat. Your team can hear you, and so can whatever is nearby.

• Progression up to level 15. Earn XP and credits, then spend them in the shop.

• Story, Easy, and Normal difficulty, so new squads can learn how the base hunts.

• Full controller support. Play with keyboard and mouse or a gamepad.

A Rescue Mission Gone Wrong

2078. Lunar Base Alpha was built to push humanity further than ever before. Then came the Red Horizon incident. The base's final transmission cut off mid-sentence:

"The moon... it's changing. The samples... they're alive. We can't contain—"

[TRANSMISSION ENDED]

Three months later, your Ashlight Recovery team breaches a sealed sector. The corridors are empty. The power is failing. Life support is running out. The station's machines are still moving, but something has corrupted them.

And they are listening.

How a Run Works

• Enter a sealed sector. Check power, access, noise, and exits before you commit.

• Restore critical systems. Split up to solve electrical puzzles at switch boxes, reroutes, traces, and terminals. Every repaired section lights back up.

• Recover NovaTech evidence. Find the logs, files, and recordings that explain what happened here.

• Extract before lockdown. Get your squad out alive. Anyone who falls can keep watching as a spectator.

The Dark Is on Their Side

Light jammers have plunged the station into darkness. Your flashlight is often the only light you have, and when its battery runs out you are down to a dim red backup. Restored sections light up again, but the lights still flicker.

The machines react to sound, light, and movement. Footsteps, voices, doors, sparks, and a flashlight pointed the wrong way can all give you away. You need power to escape, and bringing it back is never quiet.

Co-op

• 1–8 players, online or LAN. Go in alone or bring a full squad of eight.

• Proximity voice chat. Whisper plans, call for help, and go silent when something gets close.

• Steam invites. Host a session and bring friends in straight from Steam.

• Spectate after death. Fallen players can keep watching their team.

Survival

• No combat. Hide, run, distract, close doors, and cut the lights. You cannot fight your way out.

• Biomechanical threats. Corrupted security frames and service machines patrol the base, investigate noise, and punish predictable players.

• Light is limited. Manage your flashlight, fall back on your red backup light, and decide when light is worth the risk.

What the Full Game Adds

• Randomized layouts. The station changes between runs, so you can't memorize the way out.

• No level cap. Keep leveling past 15, buy anything in the shop, and unlock more survivor skins.

• Harder difficulties for squads who want a real test.

• 29 Steam Achievements to earn across your runs.

• Early Access updates with new puzzles, enemy types, sectors, and polish, shaped by player feedback.

Your demo progress comes with you. Level, credits, and unlocks earned in the demo carry into the full game on the same PC.

Content Warning

Intense horror themes, jump scares, darkness, confined spaces, disorienting audio, and isolation. Voice chat with other players may include sudden or loud sounds.
