“While Deckmate will continue to get updates well into the future, I hope to be out of Early Access within a year of release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“I hope to add all of the bells and whistles that players expect from a multiplayer game in the full version. This would include dedicated servers, ranked matchmaking, Chess Clubs, tournaments, and more.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current Early Access version has enough content for players to get a taste of what Deckmate is about. It currently supports online multiplayer with friends, and a full gameplay loop with a handful of cards.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The core gameplay of Deckmate will always be free to play (and not pay-to-win), but I may introduce paid cosmetics or other paid features that will not affect core gameplay.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I hope to build an active community, and work to implement community feedback into the game's development.”
