About This Game

Gossip Inc. is an office management incremental game. Your employees earn money, and they also talk. A silent office is a slow office, and an office drowning in rumors gets nothing done. Your job is to keep the chatter in the sweet spot while you hire, expand and grow.

GOSSIP IS PART OF THE JOB

The gossip meter is the heartbeat of your office. Too quiet and work drags. Lively and everyone is at their best. Push it too far and morale starts to slip. Every new hire pushes the meter up, so every hire is a question: can the office handle one more?

WHO SITS NEXT TO WHOM

Every species works, and talks, in its own way:

• Dog talks to everyone. Cheap, cheerful, and loud.
  
• Cactus earns the most and talks to no one, but its neighbors don't enjoy the company.
  
• Capybara barely earns a thing, but it calms the whole room around it.
  
• Fox makes the people sitting next to it richer.

Seating is where the money is. Put the right neighbors together and the office earns more than its parts.

HIRE THEM BY THE SCRUFF

New candidates show up on the hiring row. Grab one, carry it over the office, and drop it on a free desk. Buy desks, place them on the carpet, and reroll when you don't like what you see.

NO NAPPING ON COMPANY TIME

Some employees doze off at their desks, and a sleeper earns nothing. A quick slap gets them back to work.

GROW, HEAT UP, COOL DOWN

Expand the floor to give the office room to breathe. Pay wages, give breaks and raises, and hire calm employees when things get heated. Then grow again.
