Case Three: The Headless Woman

Case Summary:

A report was filed about a foul odor coming from an abandoned factory. Someone discovered a rotting corpse hanging from the rafters - a female body that went missing from the morgue of City A's People's Hospital. The body showed signs of assault, with the head severed.

Crime Scene 1: Abandoned Factory

Factory worker Cai Chunmei from Victory Textile Mill went missing. The police investigation found she had been harassed by a man named Ruan Wenlu, who was immediately brought in as a suspect.

Crime Scene 2: Ruan Wenlu's Residence

Ruan admitted to frequently harassing Cai because of her good looks. He had followed her before her disappearance but didn't dare go near the abandoned factory that night, as it was rumored to be haunted. Ruan mentioned a vagrant cleaner named Xie Bin from out of town lived nearby in squalor and may know something.

Crime Scene 3: Xie Bin's Residence

There is a long tunnel along the path to the old factory where people claimed to have heard a woman's screams before.

Crime Scene 4: The Tunnel

Five days later, a decapitated female corpse was found hanging in the abandoned factory - identified as the missing Cai Chunmei.

How did Cai die? Was the murderer Ruan, Xie, or someone else? Uncover the truth.

Gameplay:

Players must first search for clues at the crime scenes, then combine and deduce from the clues on a mind map to ultimately reach the truth. Use the clue radar hints to find physical evidence. When unsure, utilize the clue analysis device to assist deductions.
