Why Early Access?

That said, there's still a lot to implement, especially when it comes to strengthening the lore so the background story is clearer, as well as improving some aspects of gameplay and atmosphere.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“UPDATE SEPTEMBER 27, 2024. We have a fundraising campaign in progress, and depending on its success, the development time and the items to be developed may vary. However, we are committed to finishing by the end of the first quarter of 2025 at the latest.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Update September 2024.We plan to integrate more props into the scenarios, improve sound quality in certain events, add elements that better complement the story, polish and integrate character animations, and improve the home, loading, and options screens. And of course, there will be many more scares.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Update September 2024 - Nocturia is about 60% through its development. The game has already undergone several updates addressing gameplay and atmosphere; there are still things to polish, but there are no longer major bugs as there were in the beginning.

The game contains everything you need to complete the main story, including both scenarios and game mechanics.

Current content:

*Main character with basic walking mechanics, camera zoom, footstep sounds, and dialogues.

*Antagonist character models and animations.

*Various usable artifacts with mechanics, physics, and interactions.

*Rooms and environments: child's room, second-floor corridor, first-floor bathroom, living room, kitchen, and backyard. All with their corresponding props.

*Music and ambient sound.

Just enough to have a good time, develop a story, maintain suspense, and above all, give a good scare."”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Update September 2024.It is possible that the game’s price will increase at launch depending on its success and the players' response, but we want to keep it affordable for everyone, so it won’t be a significant increase.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Update September 27, 2024 - We are in constant contact with our players and streamers through social media, which has greatly helped the development of 'Nocturia,' and we hope to continue this approach.”
