“Bringing the world of Seikyu to life is an exciting and ambitious project for us, and we really want to develop the game with our community's interests in mind. Collating feedback and opinions and exploring what works for our players is our number-one priority, and we feel like this is best achieved through the process of Early Access development.”

“We're aiming for our Early Access journey to last for around 1 year.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We've got lots of exciting plans for 1.0 including the addition of extra chapters that will expand the world and story of Seikyu with additional heart events and relationship stages for NPCS. Players can also expect to unlock new areas, features and NPCs as we add more chapters to the game.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“We are currently preparing for our Early Access launch in Spring 2025! Players can expect to experience the first chapter of the game along with the first three unique yokai transformations to master. Get ready for farming, fishing, cooking, customisations (for furniture and clothes!), boss battles, festivals, and, of course, romance!”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price of the game may increase slightly at 1.0 to reflect the wealth of new content added throughout the Early Access journey. One of the great parts about Early Access is that players can grab the game at a reduced price with no re-purchase necessary at 1.0”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We have a thriving Discord community where we have been collecting feedback, particularly from Kickstarter backers, throughout the game's development. We plan to continue this during Early Access while also monitoring the Steam Discussion boards and our various social media channels for feedback.”

Seikyu — an island haven hidden far from the human world — is a sanctuary full of Yokai residents who can freely express themselves in human form. Settle down in your homeland, help expand the town, and uncover the secrets of this island and your long-lost family!

You’ll have plenty of love interests to choose from in Seikyu, each with their own unique personalities and heart-warming stories. It’s up to you to get to know the villagers by completing heart events: special quests that help relationships blossom and guide you towards your perfect match.

Experience heart events with six of our eligible bachelors and bachelorettes at our Early Access launch, with even more heart events (and characters!) coming throughout our Early Access journey.

Using your Fox Clan heritage, shapeshift into magical Yokai forms to take care of your homestead and explore the world! Soar freely in the skies of Seikyu as the Crow Tengu, dive deep for sunken treasure as a slime, or till the ground of your farm as a boar. You’ll unlock even more Yokai forms on your journey!

Cultivate crops, craft furniture, and cook meals from locally sourced ingredients. Decorate your ancestral inn to reflect your unique vision - whether you're a fan of the cozy cottage aesthetic or traditional Eastern vibes, the choice is yours!

The Seikyu ranch will also be opening soon in a future content update! Raise livestock and collect ingredients to expand your resources!

Experience the land’s seasonal changes, help the townsfolk with quests, and take part in various festivals and mini-games! You’ll soon feel part of this magical community.
