Spanky “Bat-a-Swing” is a platformer where music isn’t just part of the experience: it is the world.

Set in a city where everything moves to the beat of a dynamic electro-swing soundtrack, the game

blends a visual style inspired by classic 1930s animation with gameplay that draws from the great

classics of the genre. The result is a vibrant, one-of-a-kind world that pulls you in with thumping

basslines, off-beat grooves, and sharp snare hits.

Everything around you moves in sync, like a living orchestra: enemies, platforms, traps, the city’s

mechanisms… everything is music! It is up to you to decide whether to ride this driving rhythm and

flow through levels like a perfectly choreographed performance… or resist it and carve your way

through chaos on your own terms.

WELCOME TO METRONOPOLIS

Metronopolis is a big, lively city: loud, relentless, always on beat. But it wasn’t always like this. It

used to be a great place to live… at least until the new mayor, Metrognome, took power.

Now, rhythm is law. Every citizen, every street, every system must follow the tempo imposed by his

endless soundtrack. Many have given in and accepted this drastic change.

But not Spanky!

A short-tempered bat with a knack for invention, Spanky has turned his oversized ears into

powerful speakers and decided to rebel against this musical madness. If the city runs on rhythm,

then he will use that rhythm as a weapon. His mission? Fight the mayor’s goons, climb the ranks of

Metronopolis, and give Metrognome a well-deserved lesson to put an end to the noise once and for

all.
