Unsevered is an erotic visual novel set in an urban fantasy world. Waarom vroegtijdige toegang?

'Unsevered is ambitious, probably more than it should be for a game of its genre and format. With four years of experience under my belt, I'm educated enough to know that getting a game like this off the ground is already a difficult enough task for an under-equipped, one-man team to pull off. Even then, no time or resource is spared when it comes to bringing my core vision to life.

A visual novel of this scope seems like a dead-on-arrival idea, and yet, years later, it's still being developed. That's because of years of dedication, perseverance, learning, and adapting, powered by and done FOR its passionate community, who have not given up on it through the many challenges and turbulences in development. Early access gives this project more room to grow in a new environment and ensures it lives up to its full potential.'

'At least another two years will be needed for the first part of the game if I'm still developing it on my own by then.'

'As an appetizer, the general plan is to have new paths and gallery additions. The main course is made of new content that expands the story as much as possible through bonus chapters and an open-world mode in the second part of the game. And if you still have room for dessert, apart from the basic replayability that is to be expected of a visual novel, I also plan to add some surprise mechanics as we go. Sounds fun, doesn't it?'

'There are already many hours of content in the form of seven chapters and one linear bonus chapter that is unlocked and slightly influenced by the events of the main plot.

'No. What you see here is the price for the first part of the game in its entirety. If part two does not require an engine change, it will also be the price for the final version of the game, with all its content and new gameplay additions.'

Hoe zijn jullie van plan de community te betrekken bij het ontwikkelproces?

'No version of this game can exist without the community's involvement. I intend to address everyone primarily through Steam and our official Discord server in order to collect feedback or any reports on things not thinging as they should. The community is the heart of this project and a big reason why it's endured so far. Not failing them is one of my top priorities, not only as the developer of Unsevered but as a game developer in general.'

Enter Windgate and become its newest Relic User — the host of a rare magical power passed down through generations. A power cursed by their holders and coveted by everyone else.



With a brand-new target painted on your back and several bullets with your name on it, survival is no longer a mundane 21st-century activity, but a commodity sold to the highest bidder. After tearing apart every scrap of safety and normality in your life, this power will leave you but one thing to hold on to — your humanity. How will you face off against an entire city that wants you dead? What will you do when a second shot at true love scares you more than the red dot outside your window? Is blissful ignorance a fool's consort or veiled wisdom? One thing is for sure, the price for your survival will be paid in blood. In the end, the only true question is how much you're willing to pay.



This visual novel features an ample cast of characters, each with their own roots, conflicts, and biases, all clashing in an ever-evolving plot that unravels around The Protagonist and his struggle for control in the depths of a world he understands nothing about. Honoring its format, Unsevered does not recoil from meticulously exploring its narrative-rich world and the different perspectives of the people living in it. What truly sets this game apart is that even what seems most predictable can and will inevitably catch you off-guard. Unsevered seeks to fully utilize its themes and complex elements to offer a unique and genre-defying experience.
