What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“This game is in an minimum viable product state, with the core game loop and user loop included in the package but I still desire to work with the community to design art they like and build systems that work with them.

With early access I hope to establish a transparency with the user that this release is not in its final form.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“6-12 months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“As of now all of the art is pre-designed. I would like to have a character creator and a world creator where users can organize what art assets to use and potentially import their own assets in a user generated content system. There is also only one gamemode, I would like to test with the community to see if they desire more gamemodes and to see if this product would evolve into a party game, or remain as a 3D chatroom of sorts. I will also like to create game levels of differing aesthetic qualities.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is playable and predominantly stable, but would still need some final rounds of testing for me to be comfortable to have a finished release.

This game has a fully playable core gameplay loop and game mechanic of competing in teams against the host of the game. A single player can host a session for their community to interact in the StreamerVille virtual world. They have various ways of interacting spatially and audibly including emotes. Players can pick different characters they want to play as as well as pick different items that they want to use to achieve victory. Items include money, bombs, speedboosts and revives. Through gameplay elements like platforming the players can succeed. A core game mechanic is to utilize the proximity chat within game. Then whoever scores the most points can go onstage and say whatever they want to say in front of the whole lobby. Then the top teams are represented on a leaderboard and can restart the game to compete again.

All of these features currently work directly out of the box.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The game is free to play and the plan is to keep it that way for the duration of its lifetime. Eventually when it becomes a completed release I plan on including micro-transactions.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Through social media working with content creators as well as their communities, and hosting my own social media sites and a Discord Server. Then I would create art and feature tests to see what resonates with them. I will create exclusive events for those that are hardcore supporters.”
