Why Early Access?

“Assault on Proxima is releasing into Early Access because we want to get the game out to our players as soon as it is playable and fun, even if it doesn't contain all the content and features we intend to include for the final release.

By releasing into Early Access we can get valuable feedback from our players on how to improve and perfect the game, and what content and features the players want to see added to the final game.

The Early Access period will give us time to fully polish the game, make improvements based on community feedback and add the additional content that will expand and improve the player experience. During Early Access we are committed to delivering new singleplayer and multiplayer maps, new weapons, and improving the code so that the game is 99% bug free. Thank you for joining us on Assault On Proxima's journey towards a full release this year.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We estimate that Assault On Proxima will be in Early Access for up to, but not longer than, 6 months.

That will give us time to thoroughly polish the game's features, fix any bugs we missed, and add all the extra content we want to include for the Full Release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Assault On Proxima's time in Early Access will be used to get valuable feedback from the Player Community and make improvements to gameplay based on User's experiences.

We will use the time between Early Access Release and Full Release to improve and polish gameplay mechanics and add any new gameplay features we feel will best improve the game.

Additionally we intend to add extra content during the Early Access period, including new multiplayer maps, an expansion to the singleplayer campaign, and an array of new weapons.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Assault On Proxima in Steam Early Access is a fuily featured single player and multiplayer First Person Shooter. Gameplay includes a singleplayer mode where you fight against A.I. controlled aliens and multuplayer maps where you can battle against your friends and foes online.

The singleplayer campaign includes 5 large maps and approximately 10 alien enemy types and additional alien bosses.

The online multiplayer contains 3 PvP Maps and 3 Game Types.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price of the Assault on Proxima game may increase by between 20% and 35% upon Full Release to represent the additional time, effort, and content we will add to the game.

All Updates to the game during Early Access will be delivered 100% Free of Charge.”
