Sich is a multiplayer sandbox game played from either a first- or third-person perspective, set in the rebellious world of 17th-century Eastern Europe.

You are a peasant, laboring under a nobleman's yoke, humiliated, beaten, and tortured. One day, tired of oppression, you decide to escape — to fight for your freedom and dignity. You journey across the endless steppes of southern Ukraine to the Sich. There, among freedom-loving men who call themselves Cossacks, you buy a sabre and a musket, and learn the art of combat and marksmanship. Once trained, you set out to settle the eastern frontier — for yourself and for any who choose to follow you.

World

The world of Sich is a vast, war-torn land ravaged by plague and bloodshed. From fortified Cossack villages and noble estates to the thick northern forests, mountains, canyons, and rapids of the Dnipro River — all the way to the boundless Black Sea steppes — the land is rich in challenge and opportunity.

You can hunt, gather resources, craft items, and trade with other players. Or join massive battles between players, armies, or clans! Load your musket and take aim — or draw your sabre and enter close combat. The choice is yours. And if another Sich stands in your way — destroy it with cannons. Up to 100 players can play together in the same world.

Weapons & Melee Combat

A wide arsenal awaits you: muskets, pistols, bows, sabres, swords, spears, maces, war hammers, and cannons.

Strike and block based on the direction of your camera — skill and timing matter.

Command Your Own Army

Become a commander and raise your own army! You can:

• Recruit troops from taverns

• Hire villagers from your own or other players' settlements by placing a town crier with a drum

Organize your army into squads and give real-time commands. Watch your brave soldiers march and fight — in first or third person.

Build and Rule Your Own Sich

In a world full of rival players, you’ll need your own fortress to survive. Build your Sich alone or with friends. Upgrade its infrastructure and attract settlers. Later, you’ll be able to recruit villagers or form your personal army.

Manage internal politics within your settlement. And if you have the strength and courage — raid or destroy your enemies’ fortresses.

Nations

The world of Sich is populated by different nations. Your choice of nation will affect your character's cultural style — including clothing, weapons, and architecture. Your troops can also belong to various nations, each with unique traits and combat styles.

Playable nations include:

• Ukrainian Cossacks

• Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth

• Crimean Khanate

• Ottoman Empire

• Kingdom of Sweden

Transportation

Don’t want to travel on foot? You’ll find horses, wagons, carriages, and boats at your disposal.
