Why Early Access?

“We want the players to take an active part in the development - after all, the game is for them. With all important mechanics and features in place for the Early Access release, we will use the player's feedback to guide the game in the best possible direction. Everwind is something we want to make not FOR the players, but WITH the players.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We anticipate at least a year of Early Access at this point.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to introduce gradual content updates over the course of Early Access. Those will include both our planned improvements/extra features and changes brought by community feedback. Namely, the development goals include: more variety of items for crafting (both tools and decorations), new enemies, new islands and a farming system!”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Every basic, important game mechanics will work on Early Access launch. Both singleplayer and multiplayer gameplay will be possible. We are aiming at a very strong Early Access, not a half-complete beta. As such, everything you can read in the "About This Game" section, is already in game!”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually raise the price as we ship new content and features.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Steam forums, our social media and community hubs (like Discord) will be used to gather and discuss player feedback. These media will also be used by us to reveal and talk about future development plans. We will also keep the community up to date with Steam news posts.”

About This Game

Everwind is a novel take on the First-Person RPG and Sandbox Survival genre. Build a base on a flying ship, gather resources, craft, loot, and fight alongside your friends as you rise above the clouds to uncover the mysteries of this world.

Your airship is truly your home in the skies. Expand it to your heart's desire: build walls, workstations, gardens, even whole towers! It's your flying fortress and the only limit is your creativity. Everything you build travels with you, so no more long treks back to base, ever.

Play solo or in online co-op with up to 4 friends on one shared ship. One steers, one builds, one brews potions, one holds the line. Because every journey is better with friends!

Personalize your character, adjust the facial features, select from a variety of hairstyles, and choose the skin tone that matches your liking!

Take the helm and steer your ship yourself through an infinite, procedurally generated world of multiple unique biomes. Each with its own landscapes and distinct enemies. No two skies are ever alike, and there's always another horizon waiting.

Visit 1,000+ hand-crafted points of interest, and delve into the procedurally generated dungeons that are never the same twice. The world bends to you - everything is fully destructible, so tear it down and reshape it to your vision.
