Why Early Access?

“I want the game to be the best multiplayer experience it can possibly be.

For that reason I've decided to give myself enough time to truly create the experience I want to portray. This means more time for bug fixes, quality assurance and general work.

By going this route I can ensure that each weapon, character and map receives the correctly allotted amount of work, to ensure the quality that I want to achieve.

You all know that creating games takes time and incredible amounts of effort.

I am only one person and so I want to give myself the best shot at a successful full launch, and I believe that this is how I can do that.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I plan to have the game be in early access for at least two years. In that time I will develop and release many small updates - that will include bug fixes and quality of life improvements, and two to three large ones - that will push new weapons, maps, characters and cosmetics to the game.

These updates will also push up the overall price of the game, so it will be best to purchase early.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“At the launch of early access I plan to have the first three maps of the game completed as well as around 10 to 15 weapons and 3 characters. This means having many fully featured inclusions that have been thoroughly developed and tested that players can enjoy.

Naturally small patches and updates will add fixes and features to those first three maps as the game progresses, but the game will be fully playable.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Right now the early access version has two finished maps that are fully playable as well as 6 weapons and 2 characters.

Around 35 hours of play testing has also been completed, with another 45 to be done before launch. I plan to sniff out and fix any glaring issues before the early access launch.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, the game will have two to three price increases over the span of early access, rising by a small amount with the release of each update.

It will be best to purchase early, as that would secure the cheapest price.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I plan to have various opportunities to join my social media and discord server.

I also plan to host a few live streams and will generally engage with my community. I am always interested to find like minded gamers that could become consumers.

So far the feedback from my early community has been vital in making improvements and changes to the early alpha playtests. I thank the community for its feedback and suggestions. It has already helped to improve the game.”
