“We plan to leave Early Access end of 2024!”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version of Island Bender will differ from the Early Access version in a few key ways. At full launch, we plan to implement all the levels in the game making sure they're all dynamic and each and every one has its own customized textures. Finally, we'll also be adding some new secret mechanics that you'll have to discover as you play through the game.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current state includes three textured levels, four stackable abilities, up to six players, and a quite polished bending and fighting experience.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price will increase as a lot more cool features and content are added to the game.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Island Bender is meant to be played with friends and family, encouraging everyone to get together and have loads of fun. That’s why creating joy through gaming is at the heart of our game and our team. We will (and already do) continue interacting with all existing and new players very closely on our Discord server and around social media, also as a way to obtain feedback. About This Game

CREATE AND THROW ROCKS.

Pull rocks from the islands around you. Charge up your throw and launch them at your opponents. Smash them with a rock, or let the flying fragments finish the job!

FIGHT YOUR FRIENDS

Battle with up to 6 players or fight against bots. Hit your opponents with your rocks or their fragments to score points. Get the most points to win!

POWER-UPS

Collect power-ups flying around the arena:

  • BIG ROCK: Create larger rocks. Like rock, paper, scissors, bigger rocks always win!

  • TRIPLE ROCK: Throw three rocks at once. You can block one, but can you block all three?

  • BOUNCY ROCK: Rocks bounce once with a satisfying ping-pong effect.

  • SHOTGUN ROCK: The rock explodes into tiny fragments after you throw it. There's no rock to throw back at you!

  • SPIKEY ROCK: Spread spikes around the impact point of your thrown rock.

  • AND MANY MORE!

And combine them:

  • BIG + BOUNCY ROCK

  • TRIPLE + SHOTGUN ROCK

  • AND MANY MORE!

USE THE PHYSICS

  • THROW YOURSELF: Throw a rock and fly backwards! Use your rocks to jump, dodge, and reach new places.

  • THROW ROCKS BACK: Catch rocks thrown at you and send them right back!

  • BLOCK WITH ROCKS: Hold a rock in front of you. Incoming rocks smash into it and break apart!

  • USE THE WORLD: Pull rocks from more than just islands. Grab stones from lighthouses, rocks hanging from vines, and more!

EASY TO PLAY. FULL OF SURPRISES.
