Why Early Access?

“We believe that to create an exciting and entirely new game, it is very important to continuously refine it based on feedback from our players. To gather feedback on these elements and develop the game so that everyone can enjoy it, we believe it is necessary to obtain opinions from everyone in the community. That's why we decided to release the game in early access.
We ask for your support so that we can make Big Butt Bobby the best it can be.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“During early access, we will update the game according to the action plan, actively adding new stages and improving game systems based on your suggestions. We think creating the next 3 chapters will take us about 6-9 months.
Depending on progress in development and any changes to the game system, we may consider extending early access, or if we are satisfied with the state of the game, we will shorten it and officially release the game.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The main difference between the early access and full game versions will be the inclusion of all 4 chapters in the latter. Each of them will have a different style, new enemies, and bosses. As the story progresses, additional forms and abilities of the main character will become available.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“All main elements of the game system are already completed. Currently, the game has 10 stages, which constitute a complete first chapter.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Please share your opinions on Steam forums or on our social media channels. Based on your suggestions, we plan to actively introduce content and systemic improvements that were not planned at the beginning of development but which players desire.

About This Game

He is not the hero we need. He is not the hero we deserve. He's the hero... we have. Unfortunately, that will have to cut it.

Big Butt Bobby is a 2D platform game set in a grotesque fantasy world.

Our hero Bobby was ineptly summoned by the Mage, who hired him to save the land from the evil that consumed it. Bobby has no motives, no emotions, probably no braincells... But he does have two big buttocks with which he pays respect to his defeated enemies ;)
