Varför Early Access?

“Feedback is undoubtedly the best way to improve any product. In early access, an experimental but playable version of Vector Wave will be released to the players during our development. With continued support from the community, we hope to gather critical feedback and improve all aspects of Vector Wave for current and new players.”

Ungefär hur länge kommer det här spelet att vara i Early Access?

“Vector Wave is a passion project with very few developers actively contributing to it in their free time. Because of this, it is tricky to estimate the duration of Early Access or the full release date, but we aim to finish the project as soon as possible without sacrificing quality. There should be an announcement when the full release date becomes more clear.”

Hur är det tänkt att den fullständiga versionen ska skilja sig från versionen i Early Access?

“In Early Access, Vector Wave may exclude core features or contain experimental features which could affect the player experience. The feedback from players during Early Access lets us determine the viability of features which may or may not be included in the game's full release. For example, we plan to experiment and test the possibility of melee weapons, custom rule sets, and increased player limits which may change the game's feel.”

Hur är det nuvarande läget i versionen med Early Access?

“Currently, Vector Wave should be completely playable with features that we would consider "game-breaking" without it. Features that players should expect include, but are not limited to:

• Host/join online and local matches.
  
• Compete against other players fully.
  
• Unlock hats and customise their squares.
  
• Experience 35+ weapons and 65+ stages.
  
• Configure game settings and control schemes.

Kommer spelet att prissättas annorlunda under och efter Early Access?

“Yes, players can expect the game to be cheaper during Early Access. The reduced price should reflect the state of Vector Wave compared to what's expected on full release.”

Hur planerar ni att involvera gemenskapen i er utvecklingsprocess?

“Player feedback is extremely important to us and can change how all players interact with the Vector Wave, influencing the content we produce. Feedback will be collected through Steam, our social channels & our discord!”
