Why Early Access?

“Our game is currently in its early prototype stage. We understand the significance of receiving input from players to gauge the effectiveness of our experimental features in achieving our objectives. Your invaluable feedback will shed light on what clicks, uncover any shortcomings, and guide us in determining which features deserve further refinement. By joining us in this endeavour, players actively shape the trajectory of our game, ensuring its evolution aligns with the expectations of our dedicated community. Together, we'll work to make the game the best it can be.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We do not have a specified date on when the game will come out of early access.

We will do our best at implementing all planned features and to polish them to an acceptable standard as fast as we can. We will also be listening to our community suggestions that can also have an effect on the time we will be in early access.

But as a rough estimate we expect to be in Early Access until the end of 2023.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We don’t have anything too specific on what exactly will be different about our game, but we will be making these general improvements to it.

• More interesting/varied islands
  
• Better navigation
  
• More fluid combat
  
• Better and more stable performance
  
• More varied ships along with upgrades

There will of course be more features we will improve along the way with the help from our community.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game at the moment allows players to buy ships, sail the seas, battle enemies, capture islands, buy defences, sell loot and more to come.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The game is free-to-play and we have no intentions of changing that at this time, though this is subject to change as the direction the game evolves during Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We have a Discord server open for players to join and give us feedback, there we will also announce any playtests we will have along with updating the players on the status of the development.”
