What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Our game is a horror-action game with deep mechanics and an atmospheric story structure, offering a 4-player cooperative experience. The main reason for our decision to release it in Early Access is that we want to build the game together by receiving real-time feedback from each level. This ensures a significant impact of player feedback on level design, enemy balance, complex components, and atmosphere. It also allows us to support the development of remaining levels and explore possibilities. We want to present the game not as a "finished" experience, but as a living and growing one.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan to bring the game to its full release in approximately 3 to 4 months. During this time, we aim to complete the remaining levels, evaluate community feedback, and carry out necessary balancing and optimization work. However, due to the nature of game development, this timeframe may vary; we will continue to share updated information based on community feedback and development progress.
Even after the full release, we plan to continue developing the game. Continuing to add new levels and content is among our long-term goals.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version includes a complete level covering all the core mechanics of the game; however, this is just the beginning. We plan to add 3 to 5 levels in the full release. Each level will have its own unique area structure, new enemy types, different puzzle mechanics, and a deepening story. In addition, we anticipate improvements in areas such as scriptwriting, sound design, performance optimization, and interface enhancements. These plans may evolve over time based on feedback from the community.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version includes a fully playable level featuring all the core mechanics of the game. This level includes:

*4 player cooperative multiplayer mode
*Weapon system, UV light mechanic, ammo and item collection
*Story structure progressing through map system and note collection
*Two side enemies: the woman with the deer mask and the doctor
*A mechanical door puzzle
*Reverse ritual mechanic involving blessing and placing babies on the wall
*Unkillable witch boss: a pressure-inducing final stage that must be slowed down and avoided with UV light
*Classic zombies
*Unique puzzles

In this state, the game offers a complete and tested experience. The remaining levels are under active development.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No, the game's price will remain the same during Early Access and after the full release. Players who support us during Early Access will receive the full version free of charge.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to put the community at the center of the development process. We will be in constant communication with our players through the Steam Community Forum, our Discord server, Steam announcements, and social media (TikTok, Instagram).
Feedback will serve as our roadmap. We will meticulously review bug reports and evaluate level design and content suggestions. In addition, we will share regular update notes to allow you to follow the development process transparently. From time to time, we will conduct surveys to directly solicit player opinions on which content should be prioritized.”

About This Game

Evil Of Fate is a psychological horror and suspense-action game with co-op multiplayer first and third-person camera-based weapon mechanics. This story will draw you into its realistic and spooky dystopian world.

A mysterious stone element falling to Earth has thrown the town of Rotterwood into chaos.
Realizing the power of the stone, the priest used it to make the townsfolk utterly dependent on and loyal to him. Slowly, the people of the town transformed into half-dead beings known as Rotters.

Lucas, an investigator who ventured into Rotterwood, never returned.
In response, four researchers set out on a journey to the cursed town.

A vengeful witch whose young daughter was burned to ashes.
A priest who enslaved the townsfolk.
A town doctor who performed gruesome experiments on humans in the hospital.

Will they be able to overcome any of these horrors?

For now, at least, they have a pistol to defend themselves.

Perhaps they might find more along the way.

Putting a bullet through a Rotter’s head may be simple enough… but what about the others?

Lose yourself in realistic, optimized graphics — offering a captivating atmosphere by day and a terrifying hellish experience by night.

With the optional feature to switch between third-person and first-person modes, create your own unique experience.

At times, face ordinary Rotters — and at other times, battle against intelligent ones. Confront a variety of entities such as the Doctor, the Witch, the Priest, and the Witch’s daughters.

You’ll find yourself searching every corner for magazines.

Some will desperately look for pills to restore their health.

The curious ones will keep their eyes on scattered notes.

With the loot system, you’ll feel just a bit safer.
