Enjoy a nice drink and take in stunning scenery on relaxing Swiss rail journeys; the unique and legendary Projekt fahrBAR coach comes to Train Simulator Classic courtesy of Rivet Games!

Originating from 1913 as a postal wagon, the RhB’s WR-S 3823 saw over 60 years of service before being set aside in 1978. It was revived 3 years later and repurposed as the “Calenda-Wagon” – serving drinks on ice-hockey trains across the network, but would once again fall by the wayside.

Enter, Projekt fahrBAR, which in 2019 acquired the coach for future restoration with an end goal of returning the classic car to the railways. The dedicated team have since spent the past few years repairing and refurbishing every aspect of the coach, getting it ready to hopefully one day, bring back the classic bar on-rails.

In Train Simulator Classic, you can experience what the FahrBAR will be like once the team behind its restoration have completed the heartfelt project, enjoy quaint trips along the RhB network, and don’t forget to party with disco mode!

Preservation efforts are more than restoring locos, keeping heritage rolling stock alive is just as important, and with every purchase of the FahrBAR Coach for Train Simulator Classic, proceeds go towards the restoration of the real former WR-S 3823 bar coach, allowing it to eventually return into service.
