A community-first pagan fantasy MMO. Claim land, reshape the terrain itself, and raise a village with others through four seasons. Three callings that need each other: the Empath who takes on your wounds, the Guardian who holds the line, and the Seer who speaks with the land.

About This Game

In a world that pushes us apart, we're building a game that brings us together.

Tempus Deorum is a community-first, low-magic pagan fantasy MMO. Iron-Age villages, standing stones, war horns and bonfires. Magic is rare here: firelight, not fireworks. You come here to build a life with other people: to claim a piece of the land, shape it, and keep it alive through the seasons.

Three callings that need each other

  • The Empath takes the wounds of others onto themselves, and heals without leaving a scar.
  • The Guardian holds the line, and opens what others cannot.
  • The Seer reads the threads between worlds, blesses their companions, and sends a ghost crow ahead to scout.

Wounds you can't heal alone

Hits land where they land. Wounds linger, pain is real, and herbs heal slowly and leave scars. Find an Empath. Find a friend.

A world you actually shape

Dig into a hillside, fill a hollow, flatten a terrace for your first house. The terrain itself changes, for everyone: not in an instance, not on a housing plot. Your settlement stands in the open world, where others can see it and visit it.

Crafting that matters

The materials set the quality, from tier I to tier V. Tools are held, worn down and mended. Forges, kilns and smelters burn real fuel. Crafting is slow on purpose, so a good blade or a well-fired pot means something, and a village needs its smith, its potter and its farmer.

A living, four-season land

Tend raised beds and feed their soil, keep a compost heap, grow herbs for medicine, fish the lakes, mine the hills and fell the woods. Winter brings snow; the year turns. Sins against people stain you. Sins against the land sicken the land, and the land answers everyone.

Clans and settlements

Found a clan and claim land with a clan stone, kept strong with offerings. There are no personal banks: what you gather sustains your village, and what they gather sustains you.

Progress that respects your time

Your skills keep growing while you're away, and slow work is judged by the work done, not by the hours you were online.

Play your way

Built for controllers from day one, with full mouse and keyboard support.

Still in development

Tempus Deorum is in pre-alpha, built by a solo developer and shaped by its community. Combat is being refined, raids on settlements and clan sieges are on the way, and sound and music are coming. Everything you see is work in progress.
