Why Early Access?

“I'm crafting this game solo, mainly as a super cool present for my kiddos. I'm all in for making it the best possible treasure they could ever stumble upon, leaving them with awesome memories. I reckon Early Access is the perfect playground for snagging nifty advice while I'm in the thick of it, fully committing to churn out a game that really leaves its mark.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“To whip it up just like I've dreamed, Early Access is going to last at least a year. I'm all about taking the right amount of time to cook up something truly worthwhile and fleshed-out.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“My game plan is to pack in as many features as I can during Early Access, including: a full-blown story that kicks off and wraps up nicely without any need for DLCs to fully enjoy it; multi-language support so players can dive into the game not just in English, but in several other languages too; and constant optimizations on assets and mechanics to make the gameplay as smooth and fun as possible!”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Right now, you'll be diving into an alpha version of "Wandering Cat", which is already chock-full of content allowing you to: explore the game's first hub, the village of Dofos; interact with NPCs to whip up delicious dishes; solve environmental puzzles; and venture into the Dungeon in search of ingredients and treasures. Keep your eyes peeled on the "About This" section for more deets.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yep, the price will get a tweak based on the cool features I add throughout the development journey.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The heart of our community will beat on Discord, where I'll be gathering all the juicy feedback from you awesome players and our most dedicated testers. This will make for some real-time, fruitful chats to score top-notch results as I plow ahead with development.
