## You wake up to an owl staring at you.

Its amber eyes reflect a crumbling stone complex. The clock tower's hands have stood still for thirty years, gears choked with dust.

"Headmaster." It speaks.

And just like that, you become the principal of Clockwork Academy. No pop-up tutorials, no glowing quest arrows telling you where to go. You just stand there, watching cherry blossoms bloom year after year in the abandoned school. Even though no one lives here anymore, the flowers still wait.

## Then you meet her.

**Princess Manqi Nangong**. She wears black battle armor, eyes bright with intelligence and stubborn resolve. She trusts no one, because she doesn't need protecting. She only wants vengeance.

But this isn't a game where you play the hero saving the princess.

**You are an observer, a witness.** You'll walk the path of revenge with her, watch as hatred slowly consumes her, watch as she becomes the very thing she swore to destroy. Your job is to make choices at critical moments — **not for her, but to help her see the choices she's making.**

This might be the most subversive MMO storyline ever created: **You are not the protagonist. You're the one standing by, watching her grow with a breaking heart.**

Ever played a game where NPCs stand in the same spot every day, repeating the same lines, never remembering the favor you did for them last week?

Sakura Dream Sea is not that game.

Your **Astral Soul** — a pet housing a fragment of a hero's soul — remembers everything about you:

- Where you took it on your last dungeon run

- How many days you've been offline, waiting patiently for your return

- What gifts you've given it, and how it's feeling right now

- Even tiny choices you made weeks ago

When you log back in after three days away, **Zero** (the academy's sentient magic core) will greet you:

## No first purchase bonuses, no VIP tiers, no pay-to-win pressure whatsoever

We know what you're thinking: "Another anime MMO. Download it, get spammed with first-buy popups, hit a paywall an hour in, forced to gacha for characters."

Sakura Dream Sea has none of that.

It's not that we don't want to make money. We just believe: **If a game is actually fun, players will reward you with their time and their passion.**

So here's what you won't find:

- **No first purchase, tiered purchase, or cumulative purchase rewards** — Spend money if you want, don't if you don't. No one will nag you.

- **No traditional gacha/loot boxes** — Companions are unlocked through story progress, not 10-pull rolls.

- **No VIP membership tiers** — Every player has access to exactly the same features.

- **No power gating** — Story progress is determined by exploration and choices, not how much you spend.

We built a system called the **Fate Genome**. Every new player gets a unique personality vector when they create their character, which determines:

- Which hero's soul will choose to bond with you

- What kind of unique villain you'll face (Shadow Wraiths generate custom dialogue and challenges based on your choices)

- What prophecy you'll receive when you log in each day

- What "only you would know" lines NPCs will say to you

**Your experience is completely unique. Not because of how much you spent, but because you're you.**

## Your Pet Is Actually Alive

In Sakura Dream Sea, the pets you summon aren't just combat tools.

They're **Astral Souls** — fragments of legendary heroes, bound to the creature you summon. They have emotions, memories, and personalities. They get happy, sad, angry, and tired.

- Give them a gift, and they'll genuinely be happy (+ affection)

- Ignore them for days, and their mood will drop

- They remember every battle you've fought together

- They automatically write a diary entry every day, recording your time together

You'll probably see players sharing screenshots on social media:

> "My Astral Soul said today: 'You forgot to dodge the fire circle again, I warned you three times. But we cleared it anyway, and you were so excited you looked like a kid. ...I love moments like this.'"

## A Story of Hatred and Redemption

The main storyline spans seven volumes, from "The Headmaster of Clockwork Academy" to "The Final Chapter of Sakura Dream Sea".

You'll collect seven **Clockwork Fragments**, each holding a sealed memory of fate:

- **Dragon's Roar Shard**: A war, a princess watching her parents die, the seed of hatred taking root

- **Loyalty Shard**: The oath between a prime minister and his king, the cost of devotion

- **Poison Shard**: Another princess's nine-year revenge plan, the weight of hatred

- **Choice Shard**: The shape of a father's love — using the cruelest methods to forge his child into something stronger

This isn't a "defeat the dark lord and save the world" story.

It's a story about **how hatred destroys people, and how people can learn to let it go**.

You'll witness:

- A princess who pursues revenge to the end, only to realize she's become the very thing she hated

- A prime minister branded a traitor by the whole world, who spends his life honoring his promise to the dead king

- An undercover agent consumed by hatred, staring at their reflection in the mirror — the face of a monster

**This isn't the kind of game you finish and forget. It's a story that will stay with you long after the credits roll.**

## Choose Your Own Fate

Sakura Dream Sea has six classes, each bonded to an Astral Soul with a completely unique personality:

- **Warden** → Guardian Soul (calm, steadfast)

- **Starweaver** → Cosmos Soul (mysterious, wise)

- **Dawnbringer** → Morning Light Soul (gentle, healing)

- **Ranger** → Nature Soul (playful, free-spirited)

- **Shadowdancer** → Umbral Soul (quiet, loyal)

- **Alchemist** → Forge Soul (passionate, curious)

Each class has completely different combat styles, abilities, and story experiences. Most importantly, your choices shape how the world speaks to you.
