Why Early Access?

“Hexworld had a long journey, originating from a game jam entry made in 2021. We improved the game a lot and made sure it will have potential to be playable for hours. Now we would love to collect more feedback to make sure we are on the right course with the gameplay before we finalize the content.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Three to six months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We would like to add more units, buildings, spells and skills, polish graphics, VFX, sounds and music, design variations for more diverse campaign playthroughs, as well as memorable and interesting boss fights.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Right now the game has all the main mechanics and randomly generated campaigns you can play through from start to finish, building upgrades and combinations, and, of course, units that can reliably fall from the edge of the world.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Price is subject to raise after the game leaves the early access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Polls and feature discussions via Discord. We are also pretty active in Steam Community Hub.”
