“At this stage, there will be frequent updates addressing any reported bugs or imbalances.
Early access allows for rapid testing of certain features or steering the way the game is headed more easily adjusting anything related to game balance based on early feedback.”

“Planned to leave early access as soon as no major or gameplay-breaking bugs were found.
By taking the current state of the game into account, approximately somewhere from the first month to about 3 months after early access release. this timeline could change.”

“Planning on overall polishment and improvement of in-game sections and more content ranging from weapons to game modes.
Launching the competitive matchmaking in beta and consistent ESPORT tournaments are part of post-launch plans.
Aside from that, improvement and QOL changes based on the early feedback.

As of now the plans for post-launch also include but are not limited to frequent content updates with the addition of more weapons, more characters, clothing and gears, maps and modes, balancing, etc.

Gameplay and Gunplay improvements are planned to be active as part of future updates even after the release.”

“There will be server browsers with custom matches such as 5v5 round-based, FFA, TDM, Conquest and the Co-op Mutation Mode.
Limited content, placeholders and minor bugs are expected.
However, the game is in good shape for an early access release.

Initial early access servers will be available for regions US and UK. more region will be available in span of months after.”

WORKSHOP SUPPORT

LIGHTNING has a built-in native map editor and creator. No extra downloads!
You can even import your own 3D models along with their textures inside the editor!

Easily publish the map to the workshop from the editor.
Anyone can then browse the workshop maps inside the game, and invite or host a match with them.

Fast-paced competitive FPS with focus on Esports where it's possible to organize tournaments & leagues, customize your weapon & operator, watch your match replays for education or entertainment, create teams, a variety of modes, and exclusive attention to gunplay.

The main competitive core is a 5v5 tactical economy-based match with unique character abilities.

No SBMM for Custom matches and server browsers that are also available per region. where it's possible to play up to a total of 24 players, 12 on each team and modes ranging from FFA, TDM, 5v5 to mutation mode.

LEAGUE SYSTEM

The League System in-game makes it easier than ever to let you organize tournaments and set a prize pool along with game modes, number of participants, whether it's team-based, having entry fees or not and control over the tournament.

MAP EDITOR

Let your creativity be unleashed, LIGHTNING has a very approachable in-game map editor, with the option to Import your own models! the power to create is now in your hands.

CHARACTER SYSTEM

In Lightning, you're able to create and customize your operator the way you want them and then you're able to choose a power-enabled character whom you harness their special abilities and appearance for your own.

THE HORDE IS COMING

This mode consists of a wave system with mutant bosses. as you progress there will be stronger mutants and more boss waves.

REPLAY SYSTEM

Watch the replay of your past games and see how your opponent played their round with the capability to create gameplay moments.

PARKOUR

Wall run and wall jump across vertical surfaces,
In addition to being able to vault over obstacles, you can also utilize wall runs and jumps to take advantage of your surroundings. For instance, you could execute a wall jump from one surface to another and deliver a finishing attack by landing on your opponent.

Customize your weapon and operator with a large selection of gears and clothing

SKILL BASED

No weapon grind, focus on competing instead. all firearms will be accessible from the get-go.
The main competitive focus of the game will be an economy based 5v5 mode. where all utilities and firearms are buyable through match-earned credits.
Any firearm is capable to do a 1-shot headshot, your bullet exactly goes where the iron sight is when you're Aiming Down Sight, regardless of the recoil.
In economy mode due to buyable armor and helmet for increased protection, there may need for more than one bullet for a headshot with some specific weapons.

OPTIMIZATION

LIGHTNING is optimized in favor of performance to meet the competitive scene standards while keeping the quality level high.

A new matchmaking algorithm has been in development and is being made in-house
