“MISERY’ May Have One of the Best Gameplay Reveal Trailers Ever, and I Need This Game in My Life Now Sure, I’ll likely be in ‘MISERY’ as soon as this drops, as I’ll no longer have any free time, but I’m very intrigued about this new game.”

About This Game

MISERY is a brutal online co-op survival horror simulator.

You and up to 5 friends are survivors of a nuclear disaster. The old world is gone. Your underground bunker is the last refuge, and you won’t last long without food and resources.

Every day is a struggle to stay alive. Go alone or squad up with friends and search for supplies in procedurally generated locations: abandoned military objects, radioactive swamps, rotting villages, and ruined towns. Fight terrifying monsters, face the unknown, and try to survive one more night.

Defeat powerful bosses and recover antenna parts to send a salvation signal and prepare for the final evacuation.

Use what you find to craft weapons, gear, and tools, everything from nail bats and gas masks to rifles, armor, and explosives.

Grow crops back at your base (hint: human ash makes good fertilizer). Hunt, cook “meals,” purify water, and mix medicine from expired pills. Everything you make just buys a little more time for you, or for someone you still care about.

Expand your bunker room by room. Set up gas, solar, or gnome-powered generators and wire electricity to lights, filters, and workbenches.

Furnish it with whatever loot you drag home: a table, a drawer, a cracked sofa, maybe even a nice carpet. The old owners won’t miss them.

Some zones are radioactive and unstable, pulsing with strange energy. You might find powerful artifacts out there… but they mess with your head. The longer you stay, the harder it is to tell what’s real.

Go out during the day. Come back before nightfall. The zone plays tricks on your mind. You’ll hear things. See things. Feel something watching. And if your grip slips, the bunker won’t save you. Nothing will.

Nothing feels better than sharing the adventure. Looting bandos together. Watching each other’s backs. Sitting around a fire, drinking whatever you found, and exhaling smoke into the cold rain. For a moment, you might even feel alive again.
