“You can customize your look and traits, travel around the campus seducing staff and students with supernatural powers, turn men into femboys or minions, infect people with horny parasitic worms, lower their intelligence, dynamically change the size of genitalia, send them into a sex frenzy, and utilize their skills or connections to help take over the university! You can possess randomly-generated students , steal their varying physical traits, and use them to further your goals. There are branching decision trees, various upgrades to boost your powers, random encounters, and quests.

Mature Content Description

The developers describe the content like this:

Artifact contains content related to the following: breast/body inflation, bimbofication, mind corruption. Femdom, futa, parasitism, impregnation, exhibitionism, gender swapping, forced feminization, small penis humiliation, big members, group intercourse, intersex, possession.

This game includes depictions of drug and alcohol abuse, gore, body horror, sexual assault and violence. Sexual assault is defined here as groping and supernatural influences over consent before sexual scenes play out. At no point does a scene with sexual content ever combine with physical violence or struggles.

Does NOT include: Violent sexual acts.

Welcome to Miskatonic

You came to Miskatonic University to study Archaeology. Now, a mysterious artifact has given you the power to change the people around you.

Get to know the students and staff, follow their stories, and discover what your powers can make of them. Reshape their bodies, corrupt their minds, or possess another student and make their life your own. After all, college is a time for experimentation.

Your ordinary student life makes a useful cover. Keep up with classes, keep Suspicion down, and be careful who notices your growing influence. Someone else is interested in the artifact.

Become Anointed

  • Create your student. Customize your appearance, gender, perks and drawbacks, or let Birth Me roll a character for you.

  • Get closer to students and staff. Follow character quests and browse SHiMMER, the social network, to learn more about the people you meet.

  • Change the student body. Unlock powers that alter physique, gender, and intelligence.

  • Live as someone else. Possess randomly generated students, extract their traits, and assume another identity.

  • Put your influence to work. Have characters earn money, find supplies, and help keep unwanted attention away.

  • Experiment with the unnatural. Put student husks to work, or establish a Broodmother to produce parasites.

  • Or, resist the calling. Fight the artifact's influence and help others!

  • There are 15+ characters and 240+ distinct sex scene images!

Early Access

Artifact is still in development. The current build focuses on sandbox play and character quests while the main story is being rewritten. The main story currently ends early, and some artwork and audio are still unfinished.

Repeatable sex scenes currently feature illustrations without accompanying scene text. Written scenes are being reworked for a future update.

18+ only. Contains explicit sexual content, nudity, corruption, transformation, and other mature themes.

Designed for desktop play. Mobile is not supported.​
